1984 Trio AIAW Synchronized Swimming Team Champions

1984 Trio AIAW Synchronized Swimming team champions
By the early 1980's, The University of Arizona synchronized swim team was considered one of the best in the country. They had already won the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) National Championship in 1981, and many of the team members were also on the United States National Team. The trio of Lori Donn, Kathy Kish and Julie Olson were the seasoned veterans. All had received All-America status and all had swum for the United States National Team. The three came together in perfect unison to win the trio championship in 1984 and helped the UA team win its second AIAW National Synchronized Swimming Championship.
