Arizona women's tennis wrapped up the Pac-12 Championships on Friday after two doubles teams advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to their respective opponents.
Senior Kim Stubbe and freshman Lauren Marker defeated Arizona State's Krawczyk and Sahagun, 8-5 in the round of 16 before falling to California's Chi and Schutting in the quarterfinals, 8-2 in the Championship Doubles bracket.
Seniors Akilah James and Susan Mc Rann also earned a win in the round of 16 after defeating Cal's Duranteau and Fabikova, 8-6 in the Invitational Doubles bracket. The duo then fell to Utah's Gerstner Da Rosa and Richter, 8-2 in the quarterfinal round.
James, the lone singles competitor remaining for the Wildcats, fell in the quarterfinals of the Invitational Singles bracket to Stanford's Caroline Doyle, 6-1, 6-0.
Arizona will await its NCAA fate as the Women's Tennis Selection Show will air on Tuesday, April 29 at 2:30 p.m. PT on NCAA.com.
