Auxiliary Video Board

New for 2014, Arizona Athletics has installed an auxiliary video board in the northwest corner of Arizona Stadium to complement the main video board in the south end. The screen, which is ready for the season opener versus UNLV on Aug. 29, measures 36 feet by 20 feet.

Cellular DAS Technology

To help improve cell phone service in Arizona Stadium, Arizona Athletics has added a distributed antenna system (DAS), which includes the latest cellular technology and is expected to greatly improve cellular service on game days. The project includes 332 antennas spread around the stadium, including the Lowell-Stevens Football Facility, producing 20 sectors, each with the capacity equivalent of one cell tower. As a comparison, prior to this upgrade, cell users were in range of only 3-5 sectors maximum, none of which were designed to support the capacity or density the stadium environment produces.

These new additions are also easily upgradable to stay up-to-speed with emerging technologies. Two major carriers are already on board with the project and we expect this to be fully functional at the start of the season, which should improve connectivity for web browsing and social media interaction. To be clear, this is a significant upgrade in cellular service, but does not include WiFi.

Parking Information

Arizona Athletics' has created a parking information page at arizonawildcats.com/parking. Through this page, we hope to provide all the information needed as you prepare to attend an Arizona home event.

For general parking information, including pay lots, call (520) 626-PARK (7275).

Cat Tran Shuttle from Park Ave. Garage

Arizona Athletics and University Parking and Transportation Services will be offering Cat Tran Shuttles from the Park Ave. Garage (located at the northeast corner of Speedway Blvd. and Park Ave.) to Arizona Stadium on game days. The shuttles will drop fans off on 6th St., immediately south of the stadium. Shuttles will depart for their destination when they are full.

Parking will be $5 per vehicle in the Park Ave. Garage or free to carpools of four (4) or more. All vehicle occupants will be able to use the complimentary shuttle, provided they present the parking permit issued for entry into the garage. Shuttle guests will need to show their garage parking permit to board pregame and postgame.

Shuttles will start running two hours prior to kick-off and will begin returning to the Park Ave. Garage starting at the conclusion of the third quarter. The service will end one hour after postgame. Postgame shuttles will run from the drop-off location on 6th St., and will have appropriate signage.

All Cat Tran Shuttles are ADA compliant and have air conditioning.

Lowell-Stevens Football Facility

The Lowell-Stevens Football Facility opened to the public in August 2013 and is the centerpiece of the Arizona football program. Supported by private funds including significant lead gifts from David and Edith Lowell and Jeff and Sharon Stevens, the $72.3 million project provides the Wildcats with one of the premier football facilities in the nation.

The structure encloses the north end of the stadium and creates a full bowl with nearly 4,000 premium spectator seats, including a donor lounge with outdoor seating. Additionally, stairways and elevator towers for the concourse connect the structure to the existing east and west stadium sections. Restrooms, amenity areas and a cafeteria also serve fans, campus and the community.

Arizona Stadium Video Board

Prior to the 2011 football season, Arizona Athletics unveiled what Director of Athletics Greg Byrne called 'a game-changer,' a brand new, state-of-the-art video board in the south end of Arizona Stadium. The 47-feet tall, 112-feet wide, 5,356 square-foot mega-board is one of the largest in college football and is used to enhance the gameday experience around Arizona's home football games.

As part of the total $7 million investment in technology upgrades for the video board and HD control room, a new sound system was added. This sound system is now housed in the outside edges of the video board and helps keep the stadium sound inside the bowl for a louder and more exciting environment. The previous sound system was perched on the roof of the pressbox and much of its sound used to spill into the surrounding neighborhoods.
