Cats Set for Phoenix Scrimmage

TUCSON - Head coach Rich Rodriguez and the Arizona football team will play a scrimmage on Fri., March 29 at Phoenix College's Hogan Field at Hoy Stadium. Start time is 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m., and the event is open to the public. Friday's scrimmage will mark the Wildcat's 11th spring practice in Rodriguez's second spring at UA.

Fans are encouraged to park in the parking garage located across the street from the football field and enter the facility through the southwest gate. Parking is free.

Fan Fest will include an inflatable football toss, a ticket sales booth to purchase new season tickets and/or join the Wildcat Club on site, an enter-to-win drawing and giveaways. The Phoenix College concession stands will be open

In the offseason, Rodriguez promoted UA operations staffer Charlie Ragle to tight ends and special teams coach, added Jim Michalczik as offensive line coach and promoted UA graduate assistant Matt Caponi to safeties coach.
