TUCSON - The Arizona softball team has released its nine-game fall schedule, head coach Mike Candrea announced Monday.
The team will take on eight southwestern junior colleges before hosting its annual alumni game on homecoming weekend.
Hillenbrand Stadium will be the host of 20 games this fall, beginning with the Fall Round Robin on Sat., Oct. 4. Eastern Arizona, Phoenix College and Arizona will participate in the three-game event with the Wildcats taking on Eastern Arizona and Phoenix College at 3 and 5 p.m., respectively.
Oct. 17-19, UA will host the Fall Invitational, a 15-game tournament with six participating teams. Arizona will welcome Central Arizona, Yavapai, Pima College, Arizona Western and Cypress for the event. For the complete list of the games, visit the schedule page.
The fall schedule continues when the Wildcats welcome Scottsdale Community College on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. PDT.
Finally, the Cats will host their annual alumni game on Sun., Nov. 9 at noon on homecoming weekend.
All games will be free of charge with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking in the surrounding lots are free of charge on weekends and weekdays after 5 p.m. with available paid parking at Cherry Garage and the 2nd Street Garage. All game times are subject to change based on weather and previous games' length.
