Q. When did you fall in love with the sport of tennis?

A. When I was six years old. I always played with other little kids. I played soccer too, but just really enjoyed tennis.

Q. What would be an example of a day in your life as a young girl?

A. Well I usually would go to school, then come home for tea, then go play tennis or go play with friends.

Q. What was your first impression of Head Coach Vicky Maes?

A. She was intense and I had never had an intense coach before. But I was excited, I was looking forward to being pushed.

Q. What does your ideal opponent play like?

A. A like an opponent that plays an aggressive ball, because I enjoy the pace.

Q. Who is your favorite team to play during the season?

A. Any one of the California schools—Stanford, Cal, UCLA, or USC. Those teams are always good, there is always an opportunity.

Q. Do you have any siblings?

A. I have an older brother who is 24. We grew up playing tennis together and still play when I go home.

Q. What is your greatest accomplishment as a tennis player so far?

A. My opportunity to come play at the University of Arizona. I had never really traveled before and it was such an exciting experience.

Q. What is your favorite memory on the team so far?

A. When we went to Nationals my freshman year. We won in the first round and came SO close to winning in the second round to advance to the Sweet 16. It came down to a few match points. It was heartbreaking, but so much fun.

Q. What is your favorite Disney movie?

A. Cinderella

Q. If you could have a theme song, what would it be?

A. Eye of the Tiger

Q. If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

A. Anywhere in Asia, but specifically Thailand.
