Game Storylines
» Third-ranked Arizona will look to accomplish a regular-season sweep of Stanford on Sunday when the teams square off on Senior Night at McKale Center; UA has a share of its 13th Pac-12 regular-season title and a win would clinch the outright championship.

» The Wildcats are 73-11 (.869) overall and 37-7 (.841) in Pac-12 games at McKale Center under head coach Sean Miller; UA heads into Sunday’s game in the midst of a 20-game home winning streak.

» Since the start of the 2012-13 season, Arizona has spent 30 weeks ranked in the top 10 of the AP poll; the Wildcats had a program-record run of eight-straight weeks as the poll’s top-ranked team earlier this season.

» Now in his fifth season in Tucson, Miller continues to honor a process that has seen him lead UA to a Pac-12-best 106-30 (.779) record since the start of the 2010-11 campaign; the Wildcats have a Pac-12-best three 25-win seasons since Miller took over in Tucson.

» Having forged its identity on defense throughout the season, Arizona is ranked sixth nationally in field goal percentage defense (38.1) and fifth in scoring defense (57.9); the Wildcats lead the nation in effective defensive efficiency, allowing just 86.7 points per 100 possessions.

» Arizona’s interior defense has been stellar, limiting opponents to 41.2 percent shooting inside the arc to rank fifth nationally in two-point field goal percentage defense; UA ranks 20th nationally at just 16.4 fouls per game.

» UA employs a balanced offensive attack, having had at least four double-figure scorers in 18 of its 28 games; the Wildcats have gotten double-doubles from five different players this season, tied for the most in the Pac-12.

» Paced by T.J. McConnell’s league-leading 3.00 assist-to-turnover ratio, Arizona ranks 20th nationally with a 1.43 ATR on the season; UA’s average of 10.6 turnovers per game would rank as the second-best in program history.

» Arizona has won the rebounding battle in 23 of its 28 games this season and ranks third nationally with a +9.2 rebound margin; UA is the only team in the nation to rank in the top 20 in both offensive (.385) and defensive (.739) rebound percentage.

» Arizona has four players averaging at least 1.9 offensive rebounds per game as UA outscores its opponents by an average of 5.5 second-chance points; the Wildcats rank 14th nationally with a .385 offensive rebound percentage.

» Miller’s biggest Arizona team has been lethal in the paint at +12.0 points per game in the paint on average; UA is averaging just 14.4 three-point attempts per game after averaging more than 20 per game a year ago.
