Former Arizona guard Carissa Crutchfield has signed to play with the Enisey Krasnoyarsky Kraj basketball team in Russia.
The team is a member of the Euroleague, which features the best professional players from all over the world, including current WNBA players.
Crutchfield will play under Head Coach Olga Shuneykina and will begin training with the team in September.
“I am so excited for the opportunity to continue playing basketball at the next level,” Crutchfield said. “I am very appreciative of the instruction and guidance Arizona and my coaches have given me on and off the court to prepare for this.”
Crutchfield played at Arizona for two years after transferring from Oklahoma State. She averaged 7.2 points per game, 3.0 apg and 3.1 rpg in 59 games. She started in every game she played.
