Background:

Designed architecturally by Tucson's IEF Group, the Jim Click Hall of Champions contains 9,000 sq. ft. of floor space and, at its center beneath a ceiling 30 ft. high, a "Hall of Fame" mezzanine for special events. The Hall of Champions presents a face entirely of glass to the UofA mall. 

The Center features display cases for each of the University's intercollegiate sports and numerous other displays centered on outstanding student-athletes, performances, events, traditions and spirit-related topics from more than 100 years of UA Athletics.

Hours of Operations:

 

Monday – Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Saturday Noon – 5:00 PM

Sundays and Holidays – Closed

Admission is free

 

Football Game Day – Opens five hours prior to game time and closes one hour before the game begins.

Men’s Basketball Game Day – Closes two hours prior to game.  Re – open when the game begins and closes after half-time.

 

Entrances:

 

Enter the Jim Click Hall of Champions either from University Blvd., up Legacy Lane or from inside McKale Center on the third level, just between the Kerr and Elliot Basketball Jerseys.

 

Parking:

 

Meter parking is available on the south side of McKale Memorial Center and just east of the UofA Library.  

 

Reserving the Hall of Champions for Your Event!

 

The Jim Click Hall of Champions is a great place to have your office retreat, office party or business meeting. There are three unique and spacious areas available: the entire museum, the Eddie Lynch Plaza and the George Rountree Mezzanine

 

Rental fees for the Jim Click Hall of Champions are as follows:

 

  • On Campus Group:  $350 facility rental per event includes the following:  Custodial (required), Security and/or Facility monitor (required), Elevator access, Audio/Video services, Tables and chairs, including setup and removal. 
  • Off Campus Group:  $500 facility rental per event includes the following:  Custodial (required), Security and/or Facility monitor (required), Elevator access, Audio/Video services, Tables and chairs, including setup and removal.
  • Groups renting the facility must pay additional costs for: Catering Services, Linens, Parking Services, Bartending Services, Port-a-john’s (out-side events only).
  • By University policy, Student Union Catering must provide all catering services valued at more than $500.

Donating Your Historical Memorabilia To the Jim Click Hall of Champions  

 

Although the Heritage Center's displays and exhibits utilize UA Athletic Department memorabilia, the acquisition of historically-relevant items from private sources (principally from UA alumni-Letterwinners, other alumni, and friends of the University) is imperative for the Jim Click Hall of Champions to reflect the richness of UA athletic history as fully as possible.
