TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona athletes put forth a strong effort at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The school was recently recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the nation's best when it comes to producing Olympians.

Forbes listed the nation's top-10 Olympic-producing schools and Arizona made the list at No. 7. Of the 10 schools on the list, five were Pac-10 Conference institutions.

A total of 25 athletes representing 11 nations and competing in eight different sports were current or former Wildcat student-athletes. During the Beijing Games, those athletes captured a total of four medals (0G/3S/1B).
