Lynne received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education grades K-12 with a Minor in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2001. She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University with an anticipated graduation date of March 2011.
Lynne is an Exceptional Education Teacher and Senior Class Advisor at Cholla Magnet High School. Her primary role is serving as an academic support teacher for exceptional education students. She assists them through academic interventions in order to achieve 21st Century skills. As the Senior Class Advisor, her goal is for all the seniors to graduate and have a memorable senior year. She makes learning easier and more fun by recognizing the "grows" and "glows" of each individual student and allows the students to see the possibilities that can be attained.
As the Senior Advisor at Cholla, Ms. Hoover plans, coordinates, and implements ALL Senior fundraising efforts netting an average of $20K annually with activities such as, the "Year Long Cell Phone Recycling Program" to go green. She has also teamed with Pima Community College and Cholla's Transition Coordinator to pre-enroll Exceptional Education Senior students to ease their transition from high school to college.
