Josh Tabor earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University.

Josh is a math teacher at Canyon del Oro High School in the Amphitheater School District where he teaches AP Statistics and Statistical Reasoning in Sports, a course he created to provide a motivating context for fourth-year math students. Is it harder to shoot free-throws with distractions? Mr. Tabor's students find out by designing an experiment, collecting data in the gym, and using simulations to see if there is convincing evidence of a difference in ability.

Josh has been a grader of the AP Statistics exam for 13 years and served on the AP Statistics Test Development Committee for 4 years. Every year he conducts many workshops for AP Statistics teachers around the country and recently authored the Annotated Teacher's Edition for the fourth edition of The Practice of Statistics, the best-selling AP Statistics textbook. He is also the author of Statistical Reasoning in Sports, a textbook for high school and college students that introduces the concepts of statistical reasoning in the context of sports. In November 2010, he was named an Ambassador for Excellence by the Arizona Educational Foundation.
