Linda Andersen

Linda Andersen obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business & Economics from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master's degree in Administrative Systems & Business Education from Utah State University.  In addition to his, she studied Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at the University of Arizona.  She also obtained Pima Community College Certification to teach various levels of Business and Marketing classes.  

Linda has 37 years of teaching experience - 23 of them with Santa Rita High School.  Linda's classes are interactive and dynamic where the students are engaged and having fun as they learn.  She has a commitment to effective intervention strategies for the students and teachers that she mentors.  Her students perform at the highest level receiving state and national recognition on a yearly basis.

Her participation in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities involving students has been as DECA Advisor for 37 years.  In addition to this, she has served as Student Council Advisor for 6 years, Freshman Class Advisor for the 2009-2013 school years, and established the first school based credit union - Tucson Federal Credit Union Eagle Branch that opened in September of 2009.  In the community, she has participated and organized student volunteers for Susan Koman Breast Cancer walk, Muscular Dystrophy Association, "Make a Difference Day," University Cancer run and TFCU Make a Wish Foundation Project.
