SAN FRANCISCO – Head coach
Adia Barnes and seniors
LaBrittney Jones and
Malena Washington took part in the annual Pac-12 Women's Basketball media day today at the Pac-12 offices in downtown San Francisco.
It was an early start for the trio as the bus left the hotel to media day at 7:15 a.m. and they jumped right into it with meetings. Shortly thereafter, the festivities began with some promo shoots and a group picture.
The student-athletes also took on the Juju Challenge with the Pac-12 Networks' Rosalyn Gold-Onwude.
After some more media obligations, which included some fast break questions with ESPN, a press conference and a live interview on the Pac-12 Networks, lunch was provided on the rooftop of the Pac-12 offices. Barnes also got a chance to chat with former Arizona head coach Joan Bonvicini.
After lunch, there were a few more media obligations to fulfill, but the three also got a chance to have a little more fun.
Washington and Jones will head back to Tucson tonight while Barnes will stay in San Francisco for the annual coaches dinner with Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott. Barnes will then venture back to Tucson tomorrow morning in time for practice.
