The Arizona women's basketball program held media day on Monday, giving head coach
Adia Barnes a chance to talk to the press with a full week of practice in the books.
After a 30-minute press conference with Barnes, it was the players turn to talk. The media flocked to the McKale Center floor to get their chance to pick the brains of the student-athletes about the upcoming season
Once media day was over, the Wildcats began their sixth practice of the preseason.
The season is set to get going with an exhibition game against Western New Mexico on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. MST at McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz. The official start of the 2016-17 season is that following Sunday on Nov. 13 when the Wildcats welcome Alcorn State to Tucson for an afternoon game at 2 p.m. MST. You can still buy season tickets at
