AUSTIN, Texas – Arizona diving concluded the Texas Diving Invitational on Saturday with both the men and women competing in the platform. Four Cats finished in the top eight in the event and two landed in the top three.
 
For the women, seniors Karolyn Loftus and Sally Hackett again stood out, going 2-3 in the platform. Loftus finished second with a score of 289.45 while Hackett placed third with 256.95.
 
Junior Kaitlin Costello took seventh in the event with 208.55. In 11th-place was junior Haley Blount, scoring 185.60
 
For the men, freshman Casey Ponton placed eighth with a score of 253.20, his second eighth-place finish of the invitational.
 
Up Next: Arizona men's and women's swimming heads to Austin for the annual Texas Invitational. The invitational starts on Thurs. Nov. 30 and continues through Sat. Dec. 3.
