TUCSON, ARIZ. – On Saturday, December 31st, juniors Jordan Gumberg and George Cunningham competed in the final round of The 2016 Patriot Invitational in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The duo combined for 19 birdies and was four under in par-5 scoring in the three days of competition.

The 2016 Patriot All-America Invitational, featuring top collegiate golfers from around the world, will be played December 29th – 31st at The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz. A field of 84 PING All-America golfers from all three NCAA Divisions, NAIA and NJCAA rankings as well as from universities outside the United States will compete in a 54-hole, stroke-play competition on The Wigwam's famed Gold Course.

Gumberg finished the final round of play with a score of 72 (+2), picking up a pair of his 10 birdies on the final 18 holes. The Fort Lauderdale native ends the tournament five under in par-3 scoring and one under in par-5 scoring. Gumberg took 10th with a final score of 208 (-2).

Cunningham went even on the day to score a 70 (E) on a pair of his nine birdies on the final day of play. The Tucson native concludes play three under in par-5 scoring. Cunningham finishes in a tie for 14th place with a score of 210 (E).
