Tucson, Ariz. – The Arizona Wildcats will appear on the Pac-12 Networks 20 times this season, the most of any team in the conference, the league announced recently.
Fresh off a national runner-up finish at the College World Series in June, the Cats will see 10 of their home games televised, along with 10 road contests airing on Pac-12 Networks. The team's first appearance on television will come March 17 when the Wildcats play at UCLA. The Sunday series finale between the Bruins and Wildcats will also be televised.
The following weekend, all three of Arizona's games at Oregon State will be televised.
The Wildcats did see three of their weekend series' moved from Friday-Sunday to Thursday-Saturday to accommodate Pac-12 Networks. Two of the series' moved come on the road.
Arizona's first home series to be televised will be the Utah series. The series with the Utes was scheduled to start Friday, April 21, but has been moved up a day and will now start Thursday, April 20 and run through Saturday.
Arizona's series' at Stanford at Arizona State were also moved to Thursday-Saturday, rather than the traditional Sunday-Friday. The Stanford series will now begin Thursday, April 27 and wrap up April 29. The first two games of that series will be on television. The series against the rival Sun Devils in Phoenix will now start Thursday, May 18, rather than the 19
th.
Arizona's final series of the regular season against Cal at Hi Corbett Field will also be televised to wrap up the season.
The Wildcats open the regular season at home, Friday, Feb. 17 against Eastern Kentucky.
