Track Cats Host Rival ASU for Annual Duel in the Desert

TUCSON, Ariz. –The Event: Arizona's track and field team will be home this Saturday to host the rival Sun Devils for the Arizona-ASU Duel in the Desert at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.

Who is Competing: Competing this Saturday for the men will be Harry Zimmerman, Isaac Hing, Pau Tonnesen, Blake Eichler, Bryce Houston, David and Daniel Egbo, Collins Kibet, Michael Godbout, Hunter Davila, Daniom Tecle, Gustavs Kehris, Sam Willis, Matt Beer, Patrick Leary, Brendan Tinoco, Jeffrey Gautreau, Alex Hart, Dion Shattuck, Michael Demby, Miles Parish, Bailey Roth, Aaron Castle, Clay Cashman, Viktor Gardencrans, Gerhard De Beer, and Cody Dalton. For the women it will be Alyssa Thompson, Savaughn Christman, Traci Hicks, Gia Trevisan, Jasper Gray, Sage Watson, Tiffany Riley, Nnenya Hailey, Katelin Warren, Alex Berman, Lizzie Smith, Kate Penney, Hanna Peterson, Claire Green, Molly Callahan, Kayla Ferron, Kirsten Vergara, Addi Zerrenner, Tiana Bonds, Morgan Struble, Lisanne Hagens, Savannah Whitehead, Madison Duecker, Brittni Williams, Addison Harden, Amarissa Hawker, and Emma Ljungberg.

Tonnesen Preps for Multis:  With the Pac-12 Multis coming up in a week, Pau Tonnesen will be competing in various decathlon events to prepare this weekend. He is looking to become the Pac-12 decathlon champion two years in a row.

Pac-12 AoW: Nnenya Hailey took home Pac-12 Track Athlete of the Week honors for last weekend's incredible run in the 400-meter hurdles at 54.98 seconds. That is the best collegiate time this season.

Hoppin' Hagens: Lisanne Hagens posted a new outdoor career best in the high jump this past weekend at LSU with a mark of 5 ft. - 11.75 in. That is currently a top-15 mark in the country.
