Alejandra Llaneza, who played for the Arizona women's golf team from 2007-10, finished tied for 44th while representing Mexico in the Olympic golf tournament. Llaneza opened the tournament with a two-over 73 followed by a three-under 68 in the second round. She posted another 73 in the third round and closed with a final-round 80 to finish the tournament at 10-over-par.
During her time at Arizona, Llaneza recorded 12 top-20 finishes and three top-10 finishes, while posting a 74.38 stroke average during her final two years. She went on to play on both the Symetra Tour and the LPGA Tour, where she was a regular during the 2016 season.
