The University of Arizona women's golf team finished in fifth place at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M at the UNM Championship Golf Course. Second round play was finished in the morning due to the previous day's inclement weather. The Wildcats finished strong playing the third round at 4-under-par with a final score of 861 (-3).Oklahoma State won the tournament finishing at 20-under par. Colorado's Esther Lee won the individual crown with rounds of 61, 69, and 68 finishing at 18-under-par.Â

The Wildcats were lead by junior
Krystal Quihuis who finished the individual tournament tied for third with a score of 206 (-10). She posted rounds of 68, 68, and 70. Sophomore
Haley Moore finished the third round very strong with a seven-under-par round of 65. Moore tied for third at 10-under-par with rounds of 70, 71, and 65. Senior
Jessica Vasilic posted rounds of 74, 72, and 76 finishing at 6-over-par which put her in a tie for 51
st place. Freshman
Sandra Nordaas tied for 70
th place in her first collegiate tournament with a score of 227 (+11). Senior
Wanasa Zhou posted a final score of 231 (+15) to put her in a tie for 81
st.

In the individual competition junior
Natalia Forero tied for 31
st place finishing at 2-over-par with rounds of 68, 72, and 78. Sophomore
Danielle Lee posted a score of 220 which put her in a tie for 45
th place. Lee played the tournament at 4-over-par with rounds of 71, 78, and 71. Â
