Schedule Released For 2018 Arizona Football Season

Showdowns against BYU, USC, Oregon and Arizona State highlight seven home games to be played at Arizona Stadium next season.

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona football team will host seven home games, including five Pac-12 Conference contests, during the 2018 season. The Wildcats open next year's campaign at home against Brigham Young University on Sept. 1 and then close out the slate with the annual Territorial Cup at Arizona Stadium on Nov. 24.

Arizona's season begins with three non-conference games, including the season-opener against BYU followed by a trip to Houston (Sept. 8). For the third week of the season, the Wildcats welcome Southern Utah (Sept. 15) to the Old Pueblo.

Conference play commences on Sept. 22 with a trip to Corvallis, Ore., to face Oregon State. The Wildcats then return home for consecutive weeks, closing out September against USC (Sept. 29) and opening October with a Family Weekend feud against California (Oct. 6).

Arizona then plays back-to-back road games, with the first coming in a Friday night featured game at Utah (Oct. 12). The next week, the Wildcats travel to UCLA for a battle with the Bruins (Oct. 20).

Thereafter, the Wildcats are on the road just one more time over the final five weeks of the regular season. Consecutive games at Arizona Stadium start with a Homecoming affair against Oregon (Oct. 27), then it's another Friday night showdown against Colorado (Nov. 3.

Arizona's bye week comes in Week 11 of the regular season, giving the Wildcats a chance to rest up for a trip to the Palouse when they play at Washington State (Nov. 17). The season concludes again on the Saturday after Thanksgiving against Arizona State (Nov. 24).

Season ticket prices and sales for the 2018 season will be available in January. In the meantime, deposits are now being accepted. Fans can place a $75 per seat deposit on new or current season tickets. The $75 deposit will be applied to the overall cost of season tickets. The schedule announcement comes in coordination with the Pac-12 releasing a composite schedule for all 12 league schools. Every football game played at Pac-12 sites will be televised. A combination of the ESPN channels, ABC, FOX and FOX Sports 1 will broadcast 44 games nationally and Pac-12 Networks will offer 34 games to a national audience. Exact broadcast schedules will be determined at a later date.

Arizona (7-3, 5-2 Pac-12) has two games remaining on its 2017 regular season schedule. The Wildcats are traveling to Eugene, Ore., to face Oregon this Saturday at 4 p.m. (PST), then face rival Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2:30 p.m. (MST). Both games will be televised by the Pac-12 Network.
