TUCSON, Ariz. – Spring practice is underway and the Arizona football program invites fans to attend the Spring Showcase Presented by OrthoPros on Thursday, March 2. This exclusive look into the Wildcats' spring practice season begins at 6 p.m. and is free for all to attend.
The Spring Showcase Presented by OrthoPros allows fans to take in an Arizona football practice in its entirety. Individual, group and team scrimmage sessions will be conducted during the two-hour practice, which will also be televised live on the Pac-12 Network.
Lucky fans attending the event will have the opportunity to participate in the practice with the Wildcats. There will be three on-field fan challenges in addition to the Kid Coach of the Game, who will have the opportunity to call a play(s) with head coach
Rich Rodriguez and the team. Other chances for fans to win prizes include a throwing challenge with the quarterbacks, a kicking challenge and a punt catch challenge with the kickers and punters.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with fans asked to enter through Gate 2 on the northeast corner of Arizona Stadium. All seating is general admission and is available in the ZonaZoo section of the stadium along the east sideline. Limited concessions and restrooms will be available on the concourse above the ZonaZoo.
Free parking will be located in the lots east of Arizona Stadium after 5 p.m. Guests can park in the Cherry Avenue Garage for a nominal fee. Please refrain from parking in the lot west of Arizona Stadium as it is a monitored and enforced lot until 9 p.m.
McKale Ticket Office staff members will be on hand to process season ticket renewals for fans who have not already done so. Additionally, the staff will provide information and take requests for new season tickets throughout the event.
There will not be an autograph session at the conclusion of the Spring Showcase, however the Wildcats are planning a separate Fan Appreciation Event in April with a chance to meet the team. Details to be announced at a later date.
Season ticket renewals are currently being accepted in advance of the May 1 deadline. To renew, fans should visit www.arizonawildcats.com or do so in person or by phone through the McKale Ticket Office during regular business hours (520-621-2287).
