HONOLULU, Hawaii – No. 7 ranked Beach Cats concluded its weekend of play at the Outrigger Hawaii Invitational on Saturday. Arizona fell to No. 1 USC (1-4),No. 5 Hawaii (3-2). In the last match of the day the Wildcats swept Utah, (5-0).
 
The Arizona Beach Volleyball team went (2-3) this weekend and now holds a (6-5) record in its third week of the season.
 
UA took on No. 1 USC to begin its play of the day. The No. 3 tandem of Kendra Dahlke and Mia Mason fell to Nicolette Martin and Terese Cannon, (21-13, 21-15). In a hard fought match, No. 1 duo, Madison and McKenna Witt dropped to Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes, (21-14, 21-17). The No. 2 pair of Olivia Macdonald and Olviia Hallaran fell to USC's Sophie Bukover and Allie Wheeler, (21-16, 21-11). UA's Sam Manley and Hailey Devlin took down USC's Joy Dennis and Abril Bustamante, (21-17, 21-18). USC would then go on to earn another win as Jo Kremer and Jenna Belton defeated No. 5 pair of Halli Amaro and Brooke Burling.
 
Later in the day, he Wildcats took on Hawaii for the second time this season. UH's Ari Homayun and Carly Kan picked up the first victory for its team as they downed Arizona's No. 4 pair of Sam Manley and Hailey Devlin, (21-12, 21-11). The Cats No. 3 duo of Olivia Macdonald and Olivia Hallaran fell to Laurel Weaver and Emily Maglio, (21-15, 21-3). Nikki Taylor and Ka'iwi Schucht of UH's No. 2 team, would pick up another win against Kendra Dahlke and Mia Mason to clinch the win, (21-12, 21-15). Madison and Mckenna Witt dominated against UH's No. 1 tandem of Morgan Martin and Mikayla Tucker, (21-6, 21-15). Arizona's No. 5 pair of Halli Amaro and Brooke Burling went out with a hard fought victory as they took down Norene Iosia and Hannah Zalopany, (26-24, 25-23).
 
To conclude the day of play at the Outrigger Hawaii Invitational, UA dominated against Utah, (5-0).  Hailey Devlin and Sam Manley of the No. 4 pair started the match off strong as they defeated Utah's Tawnee Luafalemana and Brianna Doehrmann in consecutive sets, (21-10, 21-17). Not short after, No. 5 Arizona duo of Hailli Amaro and Brooke Burling picked up another win for the Wildcats as they took down Berkeley Oblad and Emily Twohig, (21-18, 21-8). Kendra Dahlke and Mia Mason clinched the win as they downed Torre Glasker and Carly Trueman, (21-19, 21-16).Madison and McKenna Witt of the No. 1 pair battled it out in three sets against Adora Anae and Dani Barton, taking the match in the third, (18-21, 21-17, 15-12). To secure the sweep, the No. 2 pair of Olivia Macdonald and Olivia Hallaran took the match to three sets and earned victory against Bailey Choy and Eliza Katoa, (23-21, 18-21, 15-11)
 
 
UA will continue on its road swing as they head to TCU to compete against LSU and TCU on Saturday, March 25.
