PRIORITY POINT SYSTEM

In 1990, the Wildcat Club Priority Point System was created to supplement the priority seating program and to reward loyal Wildcat fans for years of season ticket purchases and contributions to the Arizona Athletics. The Priority Point System is used to determine:

• Season ticket assignments for new Wildcat Club members (based upon availability). Preferential seating will be given to contributors to Campaign Arizona for the Student-Athlete;
• Season ticket upgrades for current members in football, men's and women's basketball, and softball during the renewal process (based upon availability);
• Single-game tickets for home and away football, men's and women's basketball, and softball games;
• All post-season ticket assignments;
• Luncheon and banquet seating.

Points are awarded acoordingly:

Years

• 2 points for every year as a season ticket holder (football beginning in 1946, men’s basketball beginning 1972, women's basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball)
• 2 points for every year as a Wild Card Sports Pass holder
• 2 points for every year of charitable giving (non-priority seating)
• 1 point for every year of priority seating contributions

Cash Contributions

• 2 points for every $100 of charitable gifts since 1985 (non-priority seating)
• 1 point for every $100 given for the purchase of priority seating
• 1 point for every $100 given for the purchase of a Loge/Super Suite seat (excluding season ticket, parking and food costs)
• 1/2 point for every $100 given for a corporate sponsorship package ($5k/yr. minimum; corporate sponsorships do not include annual giving benefits)

Planned Gifts

• 2 points for every $100 of accumulated cash value on a whole-life insurance policy
• 2 points for every $100 of a charitable remainder trust/gift annuity after calculating the charitable deduction according to IRS guidelines; other gifts-points awarded on a case-by-case basis

Gift-In-Kind Contributions (requires prior written approval)
Intended for resale (e.g. automobiles)

• 2 points for every $100 after the sale of the gift-in-kind

Intended for internal use (e.g. copier; catering)

• 1 point for every $100 of gift-in-kind

Intended for auction

• 1/2 point for every $100 of the retail value when given for the purpose of an auction ($1k minimum)

Fixed Points

• 10 points for lettering in a varsity sport at the University of Arizona (maximum of 20 points per membership; can include spouse)
• 5 points for UA President s Club membership (maximum of 5 points per membership)
• 5 points for University of Arizona Alumnus/Alumnae (maximum of 10 points per membership; can include spouse)
