SPORTS MARKETING ASSOCIATION

 

SMA members Victor Rodriguez, Brittany Grant, Emily McCarthy, John Habert, Alixe Holcomb, Rachel Vigil, and Cody Cassidy take a break from in-game promotions at the Arizona football game against Oregon.

 

The Sports Marketing Association (S.M.A.) works directly with Arizona Athletics and ASUA to market athletics' events to the U of A student body and the Tucson community. The club helps to promote each of Arizona's 19 NCAA Division-I sports, with particular emphasis on football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, women's soccer, softball and baseball. S.M.A. members assist in the development of marketing plans, game day promotions, and volunteer during the game-day events. In addition, the club is involved in numerous social events such as intramurals, road trips to support our teams, and barbeques.
