Many reasons for the University of Arizona's overall athletic success are its head coaches and assistants. Proven winners across the board help Arizona put its best foot forward on the fields and courts, as well as in the classroom.

The Wildcats' success over the years in softball and baseball - a combined nine NCAA titles - and the program's 1997 NCAA Championship in men's basketball underscore the level of competitiveness embraced by UA sports programs.
