U.S. News & World Report ranks the University of Arizona in the top 50 among all public universities (612) in the nation.

The new 405,000 square foot Student Union Memorial Center (SUMC) is among the largest in the country. The SUMC is home to the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership and provides dining services, an art gallery, a convenience store, a copy center, a U.S. Post Office, video arcade and billiard room, retail services, study and meeting rooms, locker rentals, and administrative offices for events, mall scheduling and catering.
