The University of Arizona Wildcat men's and No. 7 women's track and field teams both have athletes competing in the 2013 NCAA West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas.
The University of Arizona men's and No. 7 women's track and field program will host the 2013 Tucson Elite Classic on Thursday and Saturday at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.
Brigetta Barrett set the collegiate record in the women's high jump and won her third-straight conference title.

2012: Of the eight meets she competed in, Easley finished in the top 4 four times ... She took second place in the Willie Williams Classic with a season-best toss of 147-2 ... She competed at the Pac-12 Championships and finished in 13th place with a mark of 133-1 ... Easley finished up the year at the NCAA West Preliminaries with a 26th-place finish on a toss of 143-11.
2011: Earned the second all-conference honor of her career in the javelin throw at the Pac-10 Championships, finishing seventh ... Had a season-best toss of 153-5 at the Tucson Elite Throwers Classic ... Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Championships.
2010: Easley, who had never competed competitively for a school in the javelin, set the second-best throw in UA history ... Easley's mark of 153-8 at the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual was a freshman record at Arizona ... Went on to finish seventh at the Pac-10 Championships and earned all-conference honors ... Competed at the first round of NCAA Championships where she finished 17th.
