The combined events portion of the Pac-12 Championships begins on Saturday begins at 11:30 a.m. MST for the decathlon and 11:45 a.m. is the start time for the heptathlon.
Seniors Chris McGovern and Liana Fuentes led the Wildcats in the combined events. On Saturday, the field events begin at 9 a.m. and the running events start at 12:30 p.m.
After the first day of competition in the combined events, two Wildcats sit in ninth place. Competition resumes on Friday at 10 a.m.
2012: Indoors, Ivie competed in two hepathlons during the season ... At the Razorback Invitational, he took 21st place with a score 4,687 points ... At the MPSF Championships, Ivie posted a personal-best score of 4,812, good for 16th place ... Outdoors, Ivie completed two decathlons on the year ... HIGH SCHOOL: Ivie graduated from St. Louis Country Day School where he was the team captain his senior year ... An all-conference honoree his junior and senior year ... He is the school record holder in the high jump.
