The competition will be held at Del Urich Golf Course. The women's three-mile race will begin at 5 p.m. and the men's 4.25-mile race will begin at 5:45 p.m.
The women's 5,000-meter race will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the men's 8,000-meter race will follow at 2:15 p.m.
BEFORE ARIZONA: Hopper spent his first year after high school at Western Washington University ... He was a member of the track and field team and clocked a time of 1:53 in the 800-meter run ... He was a member of the distance medley relay team that earned NCAA Division II All-West Region honors ... Hopper earned All-Greater Northwest Athletic Conference accolades in the 800-meter run ... His second year removed from high school, Hopper attended Everett Community College but did not compete there.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Cascade High School, Hopper was the team captain his sophomore, junior and senior year ... He was named the team MVP his junior and senior year ... He earned first-team all-conference honors his junior and senior year, second-team all-conference honors his sophomore year ... Hopper earned all-city accolades his junior and senior year ...
