Brigetta Barrett Sets Collegiate Record In High Jump

Brigetta Barrett set the collegiate record in the women's high jump and won her third-straight conference title.

2012: Indoors, competed at the NAU Open, finishing in first place with a time of 5:18.8 in the mile ... She redshirted the outdoor season.

2011 (XC): She finished in 21st place in the 5,000-meter race at the George Kyte Classic, clocking a time of 18:56.1 ... Ran three miles in 18:19 at the Dave Murray Invitational, good for 16th place ... At the Grand Canyon Invitational, Penney clocked a time of 18:39.6, good for fifth place in the 5,000-meter race.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Xavier College Prep, she was the team captain her senior year ... Four-time Arizona 5A-I All-State and All-Fiesta Region ... A member of the 5A-I State Championship cross country team all four years ... National Honor Society member.
