Track And Field Hosts Jim Click Shootout

The combined events portion of the meet will begin on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. and resume on Friday at 10 a.m. On Saturday, the field events begin at 9 a.m. and running starts 12:30 p.m.

2010: During the indoor season, McGovern competed in the heptathlon for the Wildcats at MPSF Championships and the New Mexico Invitational ... He set a personal-best score of 16-0.75 in the pole vault at the Cherry and Silver Invitational ... Competed in the decathlon at the Pac-10 Outdoor Championships.

2009: Competed in the heptathlon at the New Mexico Invitational and the MPSF Championships ... During the outdoor season, his personal best in the pole vault came at the Sun Devil Invitational, where he jumped 15-7... He also competed in the decathlon at the Pac-10 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Farmington High School and was the New Mexico 4A State Champion in the pole vault during his senior year.
