At the final day of competition at the NCAA Championships West Preliminary Round, Arizona added seven additional entries to the program's total for the finals in Eugene.
The University of Arizona Wildcat men's and No. 7 women's track and field teams both have athletes competing in the 2013 NCAA West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas.
2012: Indoors, Corbin competed three times for the Wildcats ... She started off the season very strong by taking first place in the mile with a time of 4:51.16 ... She earned an eighth-place finish at the Husky Classic, running the mile in 4:47.69 ... Corbin finished the season with a personal-best time of 4:46.66 at the MPSF Championships, good for seventh place ... She redshirted the outdoor season.
2011 (XC): Corbin competed in seven meets as a freshman on the women's cross country team ... At the Grand Canyon Invitational, Corbin clocked a time of in 18:07.7 in the 5,000-meter race, good for second place ... Corbin took sixth place at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational in the 6K, posting a time of 21:35.6 in the `B' race ... At the Dave Murray Invitational, Corbin ran the three-mile race in 17:54, good for 12th place ... At the Pac-12 Championships, Corbin clocked a time of 21:09, good for 38th place in the 6,000-meter race ... She concluded the season at the NCAA West Regional, running 6,000 meters in 21:40.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Tesoro High School, she was a two-time team captain and was team MVP three times ... She earned a spot on the all-county team, as well as All-Sea View League ... School record holder for the 800 and 1,600 meters ... Lead runner and captain of the 2010 Orange County Cross Country Championship team.
PERSONAL: Born in St. George, Utah, she is the daughter of Dean and Lianne Corbin ... She has two brothers and a sister.
