On Thursday, strictly high school compeition occurs, beginnning at 3 p.m. MST. On Friday, the collegiate portion of the meet starts at 3 p.m. and the high school portion starts at 10 a.m. On Saturday, both college and high school will begin at 10 a.m.

Freeman Takes First, Sets Personal Best

The Wildcats claimed a victory in one event and set four personal-best marks on the day.

2012: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Long Beach Poly, she specialized in the 200 meters, 400 meters and relay events ... At the 2011 CIF State Championships, Walker finished sixth in the 400 meters (55.73) ... In 2009, she was the Ohio State Champion in the 400 meters as a sophomore ... Her personal bests are 24.1 (hand time) in the 200 meters and 54.48 in the 400 meters.

PERSONAL: Born in Columbus, Ohio, she is the daughter of Kimwana and Kellie Walker ... She has five siblings ... Also recruited by Ole Miss, Kansas State and Arizona State.
