TUCSON - The Arizona Wildcat No. 11 men's and No. 18 women's track and field teams will host the Jim Click Shootout on March 29-31, held at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. On Thursday and Friday, the combined events portion of the meet will occur with events set to start at 11:30 a.m. MT on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. MT on Friday. On Saturday, competition begins at 9:00 a.m. MT with the field events while the running events start at 12:30 p.m. MT. The event will be scored on a conference-by-conference basis.

The No. 11 Arizona men and No. 18 women will compete against California (Not Ranked) Clemson (Not Ranked), Colorado (Not Ranked), Iowa State (Not Ranked), Kansas State (M: NR, W: 19), Miami (Not Ranked), Ohio State (M: 25, W: NR) and Penn State (Not Ranked).

In the current 2012 USTFCCCA national poll, the Arizona men sit at the No. 11 spot and the women are 18th. The UA men are joined by four other Pac-12 schools in the national poll. Southern California is 13th, Oregon is No. 16, Stanford is No. 17 and Arizona State is 20th. On the women's side, four fellow Pac-12 schools accompany Arizona in the national poll. Oregon is No. 1, Southern California is third, Arizona State is No. 17 and Stanford is No. 21.

For the men, senior Chris McGovern, sophomore Keegan Cooke and freshman Harrison Ivie will compete in the decathlon for the Wildcats. Juniors Nick Ross and Edgar Rivera-Morales will compete in the high jump competition on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Senior Stephen Sambu will compete in the 1,500 meter-race at 1:25 p.m. Sophomore Lawi Lalang will run the 800 meters at 2:20 p.m. Junior Chris McSwain will compete in the 100-meter dash at 2:07 p.m. and the 200 meters at 2:57 p.m. His time of 21.19 in the 200-meter dash is the No. 17 time in the country. The quartet of freshman Thomas Moronta, McSwain, sophomore Sean Delfani and junior Clifton Leake will run the 4x100-meter relay at 1:07 p.m. for Arizona. The 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Leake, McSwain, junior James Eichberger and Delfani will compete at 3:40 p.m.

On the women's side, senior Liana Fuentes and sophomore Amber Passalaqua will compete in the heptathlon for Arizona. Junior Brigetta Barrett will begin the defense of her 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championship. Barrett will compete in the high jump at 12:30 p.m. Junior Georganne Moline will run the 400-meter dash at 1:50 p.m. Moline's mark of 54.13 is the No. 11 time in the country. The 4x100-meter relay team will be freshman Tamara Pridgett, junior Shale' Garland, senior Dahlys Marshall and sophomore Germe Poston. The 4x400-meter relay quartet of sophomore Shapri Romero, senior Echos Blevins, Garland and Moline will run at 3:30 p.m.
