TUCSON - The University of Arizona Wildcat men's and women's track and field teams will host the Winter All-Comers Meet on Saturday, December 8th at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. The meet will begin at 9 a.m. The entire Arizona men's and women's team has been split into three separate teams, each team was chosen based on a draft process.

The red team will look to their defend title after winning in 2011. The team will be led by senior Julie Labonté, a 2012 Olympian and two-time NCAA Champion in the women's shot put. She will compete in the shot put, discus and the hammer on Saturday. Senior Tyler Johnson, a 2012 NCAA Outdoor All-American, will compete in the hammer throw and the discus on Saturday for the red squad. Junior Elvin Kibet, a two-time NCAA All-American on the track and a 2012 NCAA Cross Country All-American will compete for the red team on Saturday. She will compete in the 1,000-meter run and the 3,000-meter run.

The blue team is highlighted by junior Alyssa Hasslen, the 2012 Pac-12 runner-up in the shot put and the discus, as well a finalist in the shot put at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. She will compete in the shot put, the discus and the hammer on Saturday. Junior Lawi Lalang, a three-time NCAA Champion and the holder of four school records, will compete run the 600 meters, 1,000 meters and 3,000 meters on Saturday for the blue squad. Senior Edgar Rivera-Morales, a three-time NCAA All-American is set to compete in the high jump, long jump and triple jump for the blue team.

The white team is led by 2012 Olympic Games Finalist, NCAA All-American and Pac-12 Champion, senior Georganne Moline. She will compete in the 60-meter dash, 150-meter dash, 250-meter hurdles and run on the 4x300-meter relay team. Senior Brigetta Barrett, a 2012 Olympic Games Silver Medalist, four-time NCAA Champion and a finalist for The Bowerman also will lead the white team. She will compete in the high jump on Saturday as well as run the 150-meter dash and the 4x300-meter relay. Sophomore Jovon Cunningham, a second-team NCAA All-American in 2012 and an All-Pac-12 performer, will represent the white team in the triple jump, long jump, high jump, 60-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles and the 150-meter run.

This is not an official meet; therefore the marks set by the student-athletes will not count towards NCAA qualifying marks. Open entries are also welcome to compete. See meet information for details.
