TUCSON--University of Arizona tennis players Frank Chen and Kieren Thompson, and soccer players Julia Glanz and Jazmin Ponce were named Student-Athletes of the Month for the summer semester.

The athletics department's academic services staff selects student-athletes periodically throughout the year for success in educational pursuits, citing their effort, improvement and performance in scholastic matters, as well as evidence of character and role-model ability.
