We would like to congratulate our six lettermen with their success finishing their season off in the divisional round. Spencer Larson (FB) and Adam Grant (OT) with the Denver Broncos; Earl Mitchell (DT) and Brooks Reed (LB) with the Houston Texans. We would also like to congratulate Ricky Elmore (OLB) who competed in the AFC championship against the New York Giants....

On behalf of the A-Club and Arizona Athletics we want to wish our two former football lettermen the best as they compete in Super Bowl XLVI.

Former Wildcats in Super Bowl XLVI:

Patriots: Rob Gronkowski, TE 07-08

Giants: Tom Quinn, LB 88-90

Super Bowl XLVI kickoff will be February 5, 2012 at 6:30pm EST.  This will be the first year AFC champion Rob Gronkowski, playing with the New England Patriots, will compete in Super Bowl XLVI.

For NFC champion Tom Quinn, New York Giants Special Teams Coordinator, this will be his second Super Bowl appearance since 2008 when the Giants defeated the New England Patriots 17-14.  This is Quinn's 6^th season with the Giants, his 5^th year as the Special Teams Coordinator. 

Granted these athletes are competing against one another for the most prestigious title in the NFL they all have one thing in common; they are all Arizona Letterwinners and Wildcats at heart. We congratulate our football alumns and appreciate all their support to Arizona Athletics. We will continue our support as they carry on into post season.
