TUCSON, Ariz. - On Monday, February 4, members of the Arizona baseball team hand-delivered season tickets to a select group of lucky fans in the greater-Tucson area in preparation for Opening Day on Friday, February 15, 2013.

The Wildcats wrapped up practice at Hi Corbett Field in the late afternoon and then gathered at McKale Center around 5 p.m. The team split into four fans and set out across Tucson to personally deliver season tickets to select Wildcat fans across Tucson.

It is the second-straight season that the UA baseball team has delivered season tickets before the start of the year. Last year, Wildcat fans returned the favor by helping UA lead the west coast in attendance with over 105,000 fans cheering on the Wildcats at Hi Corbett Field on the season.

This year, season tickets in reserved seating areas are already sold out. However, outstanding seats are available in the general admission seating areas, which include the grandstands behind the first base (Wildcats) and third base (visitors) dugouts. General admission season tickets are a great value for any Wildcat fan and are available for the low price of under $4 per game.

Arizona fans also have a new ticket option currently on sale - a "7-Game Mini-Plan". The mini-plan allows fans to purchase general admission tickets to any seven home games at Hi Corbett Field that they choose, including Opening Night and both home games vs. ASU, for the low prices of $42 (Adult), $28 (Senior Citizen) and $28 (Youth).

Single game tickets are also on sale and start as low as $8 for adults and $5 for youth/seniors in general admission seating areas when purchased in advance. Prices increase by $2 for sales in person on the day of the game Fans can purchase their tickets online at www.arizonawildcats.com, by phone at 520-621-2287 or in person at the McKale Ticket Office between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Arizona, which is ranked anywhere from No. 10 to No. 24 in the preseason polls, opens its season on Friday, Feb. 15, against Coppin State at 6 p.m. at Hi Corbett Field. The season-opener will be highlighted by a special National Championship Recognition Night. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative 2012 national championship rally towel and there will be a postgame fireworks show. Select stars from the championship team will be on hand for a pregame autograph session and they will also throw out the first pitch.
