How Fast Can Sean Miller Throw? Enter to win!
TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona men's basketball coach Sean Miller will throw out the first pitch at Saturday night's baseball game pitting No. 13 Arizona against No. 16 Arizona State at 6 p.m. at Hi Corbett Field.
Miller's stint on the mound will not be just another ceremonial first pitch toss; rather it is an opportunity for him to step away from the hardwood and onto the diamond to give a lucky Wildcat fan a chance to win tickets to Sunday's series finale.
Fans can enter an online contest to guess how fast Miller will throw his strike. The person that enters the contest and guesses correctly will win two tickets to Sunday's contest scheduled for noon.
To enter, fans must complete this form. The person that guesses correctly will have two tickets in will call at Hi Corbett Field under his/her name. If more than two people guess the correct speed, a winner will be randomly drawn. Due to NCAA rules, high school age fans are not permitted to enter.
The three-game series against the Sun Devils begins tonight at 6 p.m. and concludes with a post-game fireworks display. Along with Miller's first pitch on Saturday, the Wildcats will honor their two seniors - Bobby Brown and Michael Lopez - before the game.
Tickets to all three games this weekend are available. Tickets can be purchased online and printed at home or office and brought directly to the Hi Corbett Field gates upon arrival. It is a great option for fans to avoid the ticket rush at the ballpark before first pitch.
