TUCSON -The Louisville Cardinals avoided elimination at the NCAA Baseball Tucson Regional with an 11-3 victory over the Missouri Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field. Matt Koch was the winning pitcher of record for UL, throwing 4.2 innings and giving up four hits with two strikeouts. Dusty Ross of MU was the losing pitcher of record, throwing 2.2 innings and giving up on four earned runs on seven hits.

For the Cardinals, seven players produce a multiple-hit game, including four RBI from Ty Young. For the Tigers, Eric Garcia had two RBI and Sommerfeld had one. Louisville will advance to play Arizona in the 8 p.m. Tucson Regional Championship game on Sunday at Hi Corbett.
