TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona men's basketball players opened the 2011-12 campaign by hand delivering season tickets to a number of diehard Wildcat fans.

Robert Arvizu, Kyle Fogg, Brendon Lavender, Jesse Perry, Max Wiepking and Dondre Wise combined to deliver tickets Tuesday evening. The accounts receiving this treatment were selected because they were among the first to renew online during the first day of season ticket renewals.

The Wildcats open the 2010-11 season with the annual Red-Blue Game on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. PDT in McKale Center. The regular season opener vs. Valparaiso is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m.
