Matt Dudek joined Rich Rodriguez's staff in December 2011 and serves as Director of On-Campus Recruiting and Player Personnel. He also works closely with the coaches in the operational end of their recruiting efforts.
With a stellar reputation as one of the nation's top recruiting coordinators, Dudek's resume boasts four top-25 ranked recruiting classes during his tenure at Pittsburgh. In just a short time, he helped put together a talented 2012 class for Arizona's national signing day last February.
Dudek was the Director of Football Branding and Events at Rutgers University for the 2011 season, and the Assistant Director of Football Operations and Recruiting Coordinator at Pittsburgh for several years prior.
Also at Pittsburgh, he worked as an academic counselor with the football, women's tennis and gymnastics teams. He served as the Disability Resource Services liaison and the Continuing Eligibility Certification representative. Dudek was familiar with the football program prior to joining the academic staff as he spent two years as a video graduate assistant for the Panthers.
He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. In 2008, Dudek earned his M. Ed. in Instruction and Learning, graduating summa cum laude. He earned his Pennsylvania Instructional Certification in Secondary Social Studies Education in 2007. He graduated from South Allegheny High School, near McKeesport, in the greater Pittsburgh area.
