Charlie Ragle - Assistant Director of Operations Rich Rodriguez named Charlie Ragle as assistant director of football operations in December 2011. He also will serve as the staff's liaison for high school relations. Ragle was head coach at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., since 2007, winning the three state 5A II championships in 2009, 2010 and 2011 while compiling a remarkable 63-7 record in the span. His last Firebirds team went 14-1 in capturing his third Division III state title. He also shared athletic director duties at Chaparral. He was defensive coordinator in 2005 at the school before taking a year to serve as a graduate assistant at ASU in 2006, working with the offensive line. He was defensive coordinator at Moon Valley High School in Phoenix for five years from 2000-04. A 1998 graduate of Eastern New Mexico, Ragle was a three-year starting running back and kick returner. He and his wife, Carrie, have a daughter, Caylee.
