Reed Williams joined Arizona's staff in August 2012 as a defensive graduate assistant, working with the linebackers. He comes to Tucson after a successful playing career at West Virginia.

During his time with the Mountaineers, Williams was a four-year member of the Dean's List and President's List, a three-time member of the Big East All-Academic Team, a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2007, a second-team CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2009 and was the 2009 Big East Football Scholar Athlete of the Year.

He is a 2009 graduate of West Virginia with degrees in finance, marketing and accounting. He is currently pursuing his graduate degree in educational psychology for the University of Arizona.
