The top-100 seniors in the country will be invited to participate Sat., Jan. 26 in Mobile's Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Invitations for the 2013 Senior Bowl will be extended starting in the next few weeks and continue throughout the 2012 season.
"The Senior Bowl is very pleased to announce our first-ever `official' watch list," Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage said. "We want both college and pro football fans to enjoy tracking the players on our list as they begin their journey towards the Senior Bowl and the 2013 NFL Draft. We have included prospects from almost every level of the college game and look forward to monitoring their progress throughout the upcoming season."
Buckner, already named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list, has played in 12 Arizona career games with one start in 2011. He is expected to challenge as one of the league's top performers on the outside as a fifth-year senior in 2012. He finished 2011 with 42 catches for 606 yards and two touchdowns.
Expected to embrace Arizona's new offense with a serious plan as a fifth-year senior, Scott was ready to go every game as emergency option in 2011 but was able to redshirt. He collected a 2-0 record in starts against Washington and UCLA in 2010 and accumulated 688 yards in total offense. He also rushed 19 times for 136 yards, including career-high 12 totes vs. UCLA to go with a career-long 41-yard pass against the Bruins. Scott holds a 4-1 record as the starter in his career.
Tutogi has 36 games of experience as an H-back, tight end, fullback and tailback while potentially seeing time on the defensive line in 2012. He had career-best four receptions for 40 yards and a score against USC in 2011 while his season-high seven carries for 32 yards and two scores came in the UCLA victory. Tutogi started six games in 2011 and five games in 2010.
