Quarterback Matt Scott and running back Ka'Deem Carey were named Arizona's co-Offensive Players of the Week.

TUCSON - Each week, Arizona football head coach Rich Rodriguez and his staff will select Player of the Week honorees based on performance leading up to and including the game each week. The Wildcats fell to Stanford, 54-48 in overtime, Saturday night at Stanford Stadium.
Co-Offense: Matt Scott, Senior, Quarterback
Matt Scott set a new career high and threw for the third-most yards in a single game at Arizona (491) on 45-of-69 completions with three touchdowns (tied career high) and one interception. His completions and attempts are both single-game school records as well as Pac-12 Conference records. Scott connected with nine different receivers, including Austin Hill who had a game-high 11 grabs for 165 yards and Johnny Jackson who hauled in a career-high 10 receptions.
Scott leads the Pac-12 and ranks fourth nationally in total offense with 386.8 yards per game. On the season, he has thrown for 2,099 yards on 186-of-289 attempts and 13 touchdowns.
Co-Offense: Ka'Deem Carey, Sophomore, Quarterback
Ka'Deem Carey rushed for 132 yards on 29 carries for three touchdowns. He had a long run of 13 yards and an average of 4.6 yards per carry. Saturday's game marked his fourth of the season with 100 rushing yards or more. He also pulled in seven catches for 68 yards and a long of 24.
Carey ranks fourth in the Pac-12 and 16th nationally in rushing with an average of 111.7 yards per game. He leads the conference in scoring and ranks tied for ninth nationally with 11 points per game. On the season, he has totaled 670 yards rushing, 220 yards receiving and 11 total touchdowns.

Freshman offensive lineman Zach Hemmila was named the UA Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week.
The Wildcats have a bye week for Sat., Oct. 13. UA returns to the field on Sat., Oct. 20 to host Washington at Arizona Stadium.
