TUCSON - University of Arizona football saw 10 of its student-athletes earn degrees during university commencement ceremonies on Dec. 15. The Wildcats beat Nevada, 49-48, in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl that same day and finished the 2012 season with an 8-5 record in head coach Rich Rodriguez's first campaign at the helm of the UA program.

From the offense and special teams, offensive lineman Eric Bender-Ramsey (social behavior and human understanding), kicker John Bonano (physiology), wide receiver Dan Bucker (social behavior and human understanding), running back Daniel Jenkins (public management and policy) and quarterback Matt Scott (social behavior and human understanding) earned their degree.

From the defense, defensive lineman Dominique Austin (arts, media and entertainment), defensive lineman Chris Merrill (interdisciplinary studies), defensive lineman Willie Mobley (economy and industry), linebacker Greg Nwoko (science, technology, health and society) and free safety Mark Watley have completed their academic course work.
