The Wildcats will compete in the John A. Burns Intercollegiate beginning Feb. 20

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona’s men’s golf team will head to Hawaii Feb. 20-22 to compete in the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, a three-day, 15-team event.
Hawaii is the host school for the tournament, which will be played at Palmer Golf Course at Turtle Bay Resort, a par-72, 7,217-yard course. Eighteen holes will be played each day with a 7:30 a.m. HST start.
The fifteen-team field is made up of Arizona, BYU, BYU-Hawaii, California, Colorado State, Denver, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas A&M, UH-Hilo, UTEP, Utah, UNLV, and Washington State.
Last year, the Wildcats finished in tenth place at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate. Juan Pablo Hernandez led the Wildcats last year at the event by scoring a 219 (+3).
Arizona’s lineup includes Erik Oja, Trent Redfern, Brenden Redfern, Dylan Healey, Alex McMahon, and Juan Pablo Hernandez.
Arizona opened the spring season with a fifth-place finish, Jan. 29, at the Arizona Intercollegiate. Freshman Dylan Healey led the Wildcats by shooting an even-par 213 and finishing in a tie for 10th place.
